The course is an Inverter and Solar Energy Installation Course. Participants would be taught , Inverter and Solar Technology , Installation and Maintenance. At the end of the course, participants would be able to do the following:

TRAINNG DAY1
  • Accreditation of participants
  • Complete overview of Training: Scope of Training & Introduction
  • Introduction to Solar Technology : Types of Solar Panels, types of charge controllers, their applications and installation. Cables and Cable Lugs.
  • Introduction to Inverter Systems: Inverter Types, Brands, Features & Technical Specifications
  • Batteries: Battery Types: Deep Cycle Batteries, Engine Start Batteries, Sealed Lead Acid Batteries
  • Tools and Equipment used for Solar & Inverters: Tools and equipment used for Solar and Inverter Measurements
  • Practical Exercise: Using Multimeter and Clamp Multimeter for Continuity, Voltage and Current measurements from battery and Solar panels

TRAINNG DAY2
  • Practical Exercises: making Solar Panel Cables, Connecting Charge Controllers , Series and Parallel Battery connections, Cascading Solar Panels in Series & Parallel, Cascading Batteries, Inverter Set-Up for Load to point connection, Load test & Feedback.


 


TRAINNG DAY3
  • Inverter & Solar Design: Understanding Inverter Specifications & Features, estimating Inverter capacity for specific household or Load requirements, basic Inverter stand alone tests. Solar Panel specifications, Estimating Solar and Inverter specifications for a given loads or Power requirements


TRAINNG DAY4
  • Electrical Safety & Installation: Safety First!! When Dealing with electrical power, there is high suceptability to the risk of Electric Shock, Short circuit ( that could cause explosion of batteries), or Fire. Proper knowledge of how to avoid and eliminate these posibilities are paramount. This module of the training teaches all the Electrical safety requirements, for Inverter Installation.

  • Inverter Installation: Electrical Load Isolation from the Mains Circuit Breaker(MCB), Interfacing the Inverter to the Building, connecting the Solar Panels to the Inverter. Interfacing the Solar Charge Controller to the Inverter, mounting and Installation of the Solar panels.


TRAINNG DAY5
  • Project: You'll be given a load requirement for a household Solar Inverter need. You'll be required to estimate capacity of Inverter, Battery capacity and the number of Solar panels of particular power rating for the job. You would now implement it in the training Lab. This would be done under close supervision.
  • Inverter Business Class: How to set-up a Solar inverter Business, writing your proposals, Marketing Strategies , sourcing authentic products , after sales services etc.



  • REVIEW OF TRAINING: General review of entire training.

  • PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATES.
