Learning Outcomes

 

 

The course is a basic introductory course to jump start you on a practical path in electronics. It would not teach you how to build a space craft in 1week!.., but will definitely bring you to the intriguing world of practical electronics and gibe you all the practical basic skills and knowledge that you need to hit the ground running in your practical electronics pursuit. At the end of this course , students will be able to

  • Identify and test basic electronic components.
  • Use basic test and measuring instruments.
  • Understand schematic diagrams
  • Breadboard simple circuits
  • Solder simple circuits
  • Build and construct basic electronic circuits
  • Embedded systems (Microcontrollers, robotics), electronics design , Electronics circuit simulation all done in the Diploma course.

Course Contents & Schedule

STAGE1 (AUTOCAD 2D)


TRAINNG DAY1
  • Accreditation of Participants: Accreditation of Participants & Installation of Electronics software.
  • Electronics Components & Devices: Physical Identification , testing and uses of Passive & Active components.
  • Using The Digital Multimeter : Basics of digital multimeters, taking basic measurements (Voltage, contimuity, temperature, capacitance , hfe etc).

TRAINING DAY2 & DAY3
  • Electronics Schematics & Breadboarding: Introduction to electronics schematics and breadboarding. Basic practical breadboarding skills.
  • Breadboarding Exercises: Each student would be thought the basic rules and tricks involved in bread-boarding and soldering of circuits, and also would have the opportunity to practice it (under supervision) using the components from the training kit.

 

TRAINNG DAY4 & 5
  • Using Test & Measuring Instruments. Understand the use of basic electronic instruments for coupling projects: Oscilloscopes, Signal generators, Bench PSU's , Variacs, IC testers, Programmers.
  • Soldering & Project : Undertanding basics of soldering and coupling. Soldering exercises and basic project coupling.

  • REVIEW OF TRAINING: General review of entire training.

  • PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATES.
